Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT)

The ultrasonic method allows for the measurement of the propagation speed of an ultrasonic wave in a given material, which can then be converted into the material’s thickness in millimeters. Measurements can also be carried out on surfaces with paint coatings. Ultrasonic Thickness Testing (UTT) is performed in accordance with applicable standards or procedures specified by the client.
