Magnetic Powder Testing MT

Magnetic testing uses the phenomenon of magnetism in ferromagnetic materials. It is a surface method, where discontinuities can be detected up to a depth of about 2 mm beneath the surface. The tests are performed using both black-and-white and fluorescent techniques. The testing materials come from reputable suppliers with appropriate certificates confirming their quality.
